Lea Andreis was born in Zagreb in 1982. She enrolled Psychology study programme in 2005 at Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb and finished her graduate study in 2011 with Master’s thesis Response distortion in personality measurement: Are warned participants more honest? She volunteered in Psychological Center Sever, on help line Plavi telefon and in MassChallenge Switzerland organization. During her studies she also worked as teaching assistant in elementary school Matko Laginja in Zagreb.
She completed her vocational training in HR management field and passed professional exam at the Croatian Psychological Chamber, of which she is a member. After passing the exam, she continued working in HR management in pharmaceutical and ICT industry. During her professional career, she also worked in marketing, digital marketing, consulting, localization, coordination, and PR in both Croatian and foreign companies. Since 2019, she has been working as a teaching and research assistant at the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Croatian Studies. She is currently attending Postgraduate Doctoral Study Programme in Psychology at Faculty of Hummanities and Social Sciences, University of Rijeka and is one of the career advisors in Counseling Center of Faculty of Croatian Studies.
