Dear ladies and gentlemen,

CAIDAS (Center for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science) at Julius-Maximilians-Universität of Würzburg (JMU) and BAYHOST (Bavarian Academic Center for Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe) organize a Workshop on AI for Software Engineering from 30 September to 1 October 2024 in Würzburg.

It brings together researchers from computer science and related disciplines in order to discuss how artificial intelligence can facilitate a better use and understanding of software processes.

Three main areas will be addressed:

1) Large language models for software development

2) AI based prediction of software defects

3) Social dimension of software engineering

The workshop is supposed to be a starting point for research cooperation and an exchange of students and PhD students.

Participation in the workshop is free of charge. Free accommodation and travel grants can be provided for a certain number of participants (to be indicated in the application form).
